Turn your handwritten notes into a PDF that sells
A free AI tool can type up the notes you already have, add exam traps and hand you a finished PDF to upload. Plan on about 15 minutes per module.
Works with the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, on your phone or computer.
-
Photograph your pages
Use your phone camera. Good photos mean fewer mistakes to fix later.
- Daylight or a bright room, with no shadow from your phone
- Page flat on a plain, dark surface, filling the screen
- One page per photo, in order
- Zoom in on one photo: if you can read it, the AI can too
-
Ask the AI to type them up
Start a new chat, attach your photos (a few pages at a time works best) and paste this:
Copy this into the AIType out these handwritten notes exactly as written. Keep my headings, structure, examples and calculations. Format them neatly with headings, bullet points and tables where I used them, and write formulas properly. Don’t add anything that isn’t on the page. If you can’t read a word, write [unclear].
Send the next photos with “Carry on with these pages, same format” until you’re done.
-
Check every page
AI misreads handwriting, especially numbers, formulas and figures. Compare the typed version with your pages, fix every [unclear], and correct anything it got wrong. One wrong number in a worked example costs you a bad review.
-
Add exam traps and tips
This is what makes your notes worth paying for. Ask the AI to add extra help around what you wrote:
Copy this into the AIAfter each topic in my notes, add a short “Exam traps” box with the mistakes students commonly make on this topic and how to avoid them, and a “Remember” line with the key point to memorise. Then add a one-page summary at the end. Keep my own notes exactly as they are.
Read what it adds. Keep only what you know is right from writing the exam yourself, and add your own traps too: you know where marks were lost.
-
Ask the AI for the PDF
Get the AI to make the finished file, then download it:
Copy this into the AITurn the finished notes into a downloadable PDF file for A4. Start with a cover page showing the subject name: [your subject name]. Then a contents page, then the notes with clear headings, page numbers, and the Exam traps boxes highlighted. Make it clean and easy to read.
Replace the part in brackets first. If the AI shows the notes as text instead of a file, ask it to “create this as a PDF file I can download”.
-
Upload it on EasyNotes
Open the PDF and check it once more, then upload it, set your price and publish. Students see the first 2½ pages as a free preview, so your cover, contents and first topic are your shop window.
